For most college players, the NFL Scouting Combine is the last time they can make a lasting impression on coaches and team officials.
In order to highlight their individual strengths, players get to choose which drills and interviews they will participate in, but a poor performance in any of the events can spell disaster for those on the draft bubble.
For example, I’m betting former Louisville Cardinal B.J. Dubose is really wishing he didn’t run the 40-yard dash on Sunday.
Let’s just say his time fell flat of expectations.
Big tree fall hard.
Dubose’s tumble was caused by a pulled hamstring, but hopefully such a minor injury won’t tank his draft stock.
