The Heat and newly acquired point guard Goran Dragic hosted the Phoenix Suns in Miami on Monday.
Dragic was traded from Phoenix to Miami back in February, and his first game against his old team was a battle from the first whistle. Still, things really escalated when the Suns’ Markieff Morris brought down Dragic with a hard foul in the third quarter.
Morris was awarded a flagrant two foul and ejected from the game, but the physical play didn’t stop there. Phoenix’s Alex Len and Miami’s Hassan Whiteside were also tossed after the pair scuffled under the basket just four minutes later.
Dragic put up 21 points in only 15 minutes of court time, and Miami coasted to an easy 115-98 victory.
