San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller was arrested on a spouse battery charge last week in Santa Clara, Calif., NBC reports.
The Santa Clara Police Department confirmed the arrest of the 27-year-old starting fullback in its official online arrest log.
The incident marks the eleventh time since 2011 that a 49ers player has been arrested.
49ers General Manager Trent Baalke said in a statement, “The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Bruce Miller. We were disappointed to learn of these reports and will do our due diligence in collecting all relevant information.”
The arrest report does not identify a victim by name, but Miller has a fiancee, Leanne Massey.
