MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell continued his bashing of Hillary Clinton on “Now With Alex Wagner” in the aftermath of her highly anticipated press conference Tuesday afternoon.

O’Donnell told the host that while he “can understand” why she thought it would be more convenient to use one device, “convenience is not a choice you have in government.”

O’Donnell has been an outspoken critic since news broke of the private emails last Monday night, when he said there was “no conceivable rational explanation” for her not using a .gov email address.

“I have an NBC device and I have a personal device, and I find it much more convenient. I’m not sorting through wedding invitations versus business stuff,” O’Donnell told Wagner. “All the business stuff is right there on the one unit and the personal stuff on the other unit. I actually think the convenience argument goes the other way. I can understand why she might have thought that was more convenient.”

“But convenience is not a choice you have in government,” O’Donnell said. “She had a 2009 regulation that applied only to her, meaning it applied to her the first time. This was not a regulation Jeb Bush lived under. This was not a regulation Colin Powell lived under. That regulation said that her email must be preserved in the State Department record-keeping system and it wasn’t. There’s a moment in there where she says ‘everything I did was according to the law and the regulations.’ It was not in compliance with that regulation.”

“Lawrence O’Donnell does not sound satisfied,” Wagner said in addition.
