Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy said on “Fox News Sunday” there are “huge gaps” in the email records sent to the House Select Committee on Benghazi by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Gowdy, who heads the select committee, told host Chris Wallace that he had “no guarantee that we have everything that we’re entitled to to be able to do our jobs.”

“Why do you doubts about that, sir?” asked Wallace. (VIDEO: Chris Wallace To Dem Rep: Did Hillary Commit A Felony?)

“Well, there are huge gaps,” he responded. “Chris, if you think back to that iconic photograph of her on the C-17 with her blackberry in her hand, she’s on her way to Libya, and there are no emails for weeks and weeks on either side of that trip, including the trip itself.”

“Now, it may be that there’s a plausible explanation for that,” Gowdy allowed. “But we’re going to have to ask her before we will know that.” (VIDEO: Trey Gowdy Makes The Ultimate Argument Against Impeaching Obama)
