My wife has accepted a role consulting for RickPAC — the leadership PAC affiliated with former Texas Gov. Rick Perry. Additionally, as I have previously disclosed, she formerly consulted for Ted Cruz’s 2012 senate campaign.
Such public disclosures are necessary for the sake of transparency, and they are a small price to pay for being married to such a remarkably talented woman.
This will not change how I cover the 2016 race. As always, I will call ’em like I see ’em.
