With less than 24 hours until the voting booths open in Israel, actor Chuck Norris endorsed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his bid to retain his post.

Netanyahu is currently locked in a close race against Isaac Herzog of the Zionist Union party.

“I watched Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech before Congress, and saw a man who loves his country with all his heart and soul. I also saw a strong leader, which is absolutely crucial for the safety of the Israeli people,” Norris said in a video released Monday.

Unsurprisingly, the video was titled “Please vote for Prime Minister Netanyahu.”

“You have an incredible country, and we want to keep it that way,” Norris said in the video.

Norris’ endorsement of the Israeli Prime Minister is not his first political endorsement. The actor previously endorsed former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee for president in 2007 ahead of the GOP primary, along with former Speaker Newt Gingrich in 2012. He ultimately supported Mitt Romney in the general election after Gingrich’s bid came to a close.

“It is so important that you keep a leader who has the courage and vision to stand up against the evil forces that are threatening not only Israel, but the United States,” Norris added.
