Immediately after airing President Barack Obama’s annual March Madness picks, the hosts of ESPN’s SportsCenter pointed out that Obama has a horrible track record of making selections for his favorite sport.

“In truth, it started off so well for the president,” said host Jay Crawford. “Back in his first go-round of Barack-etology, his very first tournament in office, he correctly picked North Carolina back in 2009.”

“But Chris honestly, it’s been rough road ever since,” he continued. “In fact, over the last five years combined, he’s correctly picked only four of the total twenty teams to advance to the Final Fours.

This year, Obama picked Kentucky, Arizona, Villanova, and Duke to advance to the Final Four, and picked Kentucky for the National Championship. “That might be a bad omen for Kentucky,” joked Crawford.
