Orlando police are searching for a female spring breaker who was naked save for a stack of Mardi Gras beads she was wearing around her neck after photos of her surrounded by dozens of men were posted on social media.
Authorities want to make sure she is okay and that the photos were taken consensually.
“We aren’t trying to get her into trouble,” Bay County Sheriff’s spokesman Ruth Corley said.
“We want to make sure she isn’t in trouble.”
Police were alerted to the photos of the unnamed girl dancing after seeing them circulate on social media during the second week of March, but they don’t give enough detail to identify her or where she was.
“We want to make sure she is OK, check her well-being and make sure the pictures were consensual,” Corley said.
Anyone with information on either of the cases is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
