Jeb Bush’s Right to Rise PAC is using Mitt Romney’s email list to make contact with potential supporters and donors ahead of his likely presidential campaign.

The former Florida governor sent an email Wednesday to Romney’s email list asking recipients to show support for Israel by signing a petition sponsored by his political action committee.

The email says it was paid for by Bush’s Right to Rise PAC, but that it was sent by “Romney for President Inc.”

“This message reflects the opinions and representations of Right to Rise PAC, Inc., and is not an endorsement by Mitt Romney. You are receiving this email because you signed up as a member of Mitt Romney’s online community,” the email says.

Campaigns are known to rent lists to reach potential supporters, and Tim Miller, a spokesman for Bush, confirmed to The Daily Caller that the PAC rented the list from Romney.

A Romney spokesman told TheDC that the list is “available to rent to anyone, not just Jeb.” The aide said he didn’t have information on other Republicans who have rented the list.
