As a proud resident of the Hoosier state, I don’t mind if leftists, social justice warriors, and all my other social superiors decide to go away and leave the rest of us alone.
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence signed a bill into law Thursday that allows business owners to deny same-sex couples service on religious grounds, then quickly defended it. Within hours, Star Trek actor and LGBT activist George Takei took his outrage to Twitter using the hashtag #BoycottIndiana, which began trending.
Outraged over Indiana Freedom to Discriminate law, signed today. LGBTs aren’t 2nd class citizens. #BoycottIndiana #Pence

Same-sex marriage is legal in Indiana, but that’s not enough. It can’t just be accepted. It must be celebrated. Anyone who disapproves must be silenced. Any business owner who doesn’t sell a particular product or service must be punished, if his refusal to do so hurts a gay person’s feelings.
I don’t remember Takei expressing outrage at Bill Clinton signing the Defense of Marriage Act, or at any of the other states with laws like the one Indiana just passed. And I’m not sure how defending a business owner’s rights makes anybody else a “second-class citizen.” But hey, Takei can be as outraged as he wants, about whatever he wants. It doesn’t need to make sense. That’s his right as an American.
Here, George, I’ll help keep #BoycottIndiana trending:
Yes, please #BoycottIndiana. More for us.

It’s not like we’ve got a whole lot here that anybody would want to boycott anyway. Corn? Bulldogs? Parts for Indy cars? But you have the right to boycott whatever you want, George Takei. For any reason, no matter how stupid.
God bless America.
Update:
That's not a fact, Keith. MT @KeithOlbermann Simple fact: NCAA should pull Final 4 out of Indy.
