Men’s Final Four games are some of the hottest sporting tickets of the year.
Despite the social controversy currently surrounding Indiana, celebrities still flocked to Indianapolis on Saturday to watch two of the best basketball games of the season, but one star decided to spend the weekend watching a different basketball tournament.
Unlike many of his peers, international movie-star — and professional loony man — Tom Cruise spent his Sunday in Tampa watching Maryland’s Women’s Final Four match-up against two-time defending champion UConn, and move over Oprah’s couch because this is easily the craziest thing Cruise has ever done.
Tom spent the day cheering on the Lady Terps, but Coach Geno Auriemma’s veteran Lady Huskies easily triumphed, 81-58.
UConn will face Notre Dame in a re-match of last year’s title game on Tuesday night.
