After a cellphone video surfaced Monday of Dennis Quaid giving an expletive-filled rant to the production crew on set, it immediately smelled like a prank.
“I am acting here, and this d—head wanders onto my set. I can’t even get a line out until Dopey the Dick starts whispering in your ear and you’re not even watching anymore,” Quaid yells.
Many blamed Jimmy Kimmel, but he denied that Tuesday night, so the Internet was left wondering who was responsible. And it turns out that the meltdown was a prank, courtesy of Funny or Die.
In a new video, Quaid explains the rant.
“Sorry, I get grumpy when my hair gets flat,” Quaid concludes.
“This is a really crazy set.”
