TRIGGER WARNING: The following item may offend you if you’re of Mexican heritage, an extraterrestrial, and/or a humorless Social Justice Warrior with absolutely nothing useful to do.

Aurelius of Pundit Press brings us this news from Santa Cruz:

Stevenson College is apologizing to its students for serving Mexican food during “Intergalactic” night.

In a letter sent out to students, the college apologized for having “a Mexican food buffet,” while also featuring spaceships and aliens. The college received complaints saying the combination was racist because of the association between Mexicans and illegal immigrants.

AKA “aliens.” Very, very problematic.

I know that whenever I see a movie or TV show with spaceships in it, I’m like, “Them dang illegals again?!?” Then I holler some, take a snort of moonshine from the jug, and shoot my God-given pistols in the air. That keeps ’em away.

“We would never want to make a connection between individuals of Latino heritage or undocumented students and ‘aliens’ and I am so sorry that our College Night appeared to do exactly that,” wrote [administrative officer] Carolyn Golz…

After receiving complaints, Dr. Golz said that the event “demonstrated a cultural insensitivity on the part of the program planners and, though it was an unintentional mistake, I recognize that this incident caused harm within our community and negatively impacted students.”

How bad is it? It’s very, very bad, people:

These students must have known how harmful this was. They couldn’t be so clueless that they didn’t realize what a negative impact it would have. Yet they did it anyway. They committed literal genocide.

Is expulsion too much to ask? I submit to you, dear reader, that it is not. Let the purge begin!

This song is now banned. Do not listen to it ever again, racist.
