All he wanted to do was ask Alex to the prom by picking her up and driving her down a road lined with signs that read “Alex. Will. You. Marry. LOL Jk. Go To. Prom. With Me.”
And Alex ruined it when she didn’t realize the signs were meant for her, and called it “a shitty way to ask someone to prom.”
Cue the tears when she realizes she looks like a real asshole.
