Despite having 10 aides to handle his social media, the super-sized personality that is Donald Trump is manhandling his own image. Over the past five days alone, he’s managed to get himself on the outs with several conservative journalists. He’s also bizarrely hopping into the sack with MSNBC’s Ed Schultz.

On his program Monday night, Schultz had some shockingly kind things to say about Trump. As reported by Mediaite‘s Josh Feldman, Schultz called his business record “unparalleled” in the field of GOP presidential hopefuls. Mediaite suggested hell must have frozen over.

But Trump likes smoke blown up his ass. And he responds in kind.

Donald Trump and Ed Schultz? Strange bedfellows, indeed.

Conservative journalists, meanwhile, haven’t faired so well with Trump as of late.

Let’s recap: On Friday it was WaPo columnist George Will, whom he compared to a dog after Will went on Fox News and skewered the tease of a GOP presidential hopeful. On Monday it was The Weekly Standard‘s Stephen Hayes, who dumped on Trump at a recent GOP conference by calling him a “clown”, followed by a tussle with NationalReviewOnline‘s Jonah Goldberg, who mocked Trump on FNC.

Hayes is also persona non grata.

Several conservative journalists sang Hayes’ praises in response, including TWT‘s Joe Curl, who wrote on Twitter, “Disappear, little man.”

In January, Trump took a bat to NBC’s “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd, saying that he should replace him and that he had no talent. This was after Todd refused to take Trump seriously and said as much on his show.

Another reporter swimming in the talentless cesspool of Trump’s mind: BuzzFeed‘s McKay Coppins, who is, in Trump’s mind, no doubt weak on talent after he wrote a profile on the would-be candidate that put his phony political aspirations on display. But worse — Coppins allegedly has a wandering eye. Trump says the married Mormon reporter ogled women when he visited his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach.

Rest assured, if you’re a journalist and you publicly badmouth Trump, you have no talent and your behavior at Mar-a-Lago was deplorable.
