The Washington Capitals took on the New York Islanders in Game 4 of the first round of the NHL Playoffs on Tuesday.
Washington would eventually win 2-1 in overtime off of a Nicklas Backstrom wrister — evening the series at two games apiece — but the night was less than enjoyable for one Caps player.
Defenseman Brooks Orpik was forced to leave the game after taking a teammate’s skate to the chin in the first period.

Orpik would come eventually come back into the game in the 2nd period, but his shitty night didn’t end there. After the game, an asshole Islanders fan decided to reward Brooks’ effort with a nice cold beer… right in the face.
