Bruce Jenner’s first public announcement of his transition into a woman will reportedly happen during his interview with Diane Sawyer Friday. His high school girlfriend is saying she’s shocked by it all.
Michelle Rosenthal was Jenner’s date to prom at their Connecticut high school, and told “Inside Edition” that the transition is unexpected.
“We danced close. We did kiss. He seemed to enjoy it,” Rosenthal said.

“I would have never thought that in a million years from knowing him from high school. When it came out in the papers that he was thinking of this, I think everyone was really shocked.”
She said that Jenner seemed different on episodes of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
“I don’t know, he just definitely doesn’t seem like the same Bruce.”
“The Bruce I remember was happy-go-lucky. Nice guy, friendly with everybody, popular.”
