This week’s female high school teacher busted for having sex with an underage male student is Amber Anderson of Christian Life Academy in Baton Rouge, La.

The 27-year-old math teacher’s tryst with the boy occurred two years ago but police only found out earlier this month. Anderson admitted her role in the affair to a detective, according to a sheriff’s detective’s affidavit. She apologized for “taking the victim’s innocence.”

The Times-Picayune has the complete affidavit.

The tryst between the 25-year-old math teacher and the 15-year-old freshman student progressed as pretty much the quintessential, textbook student-teacher sex affair.

First came texting after the boy shrewdly obtained Anderson’s mobile number from a friend in April 2013. Then it was sexting. The sexting escalated into sexting involving naked photos.

The star-crossed pair had sex on multiple occasions in her home in July and August, according to the affidavit. Anderson would pick the high school freshman up after he walked from his home to a fast-food restaurant.

The boy’s mother found out about the affair after one of her son’s friends spilled the beans to local police. She said she had her suspicions two years ago after finding her son’s texts. She reported her concerns at the time to school administrators, according to The Times-Picayune.

Since the summer 2013 sex encounters, Anderson has worked at Christian Life Academy continuously.

The unidentified boy, now presumably 17, also has attended the school this entire time.

School officials fired Anderson after her arrest this week. (They appear to have scrubbed her name from the faculty directory this week as well.)

According to the Christian Life Academy website, the school’s mission “is to present Jesus Christ as the focus of all truth through excellent academics, wholesome extra-curricular activities and as a foundation for all relationships.” High school tuition is $7,825 per year.

“Frankly, we’re thankful that it’s been exposed because this goes totally contrary to everything we teach,” school founder Jere Melilli told Baton Rouge ABC affiliate WBRZ.

Anderson faces charges of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. She posted a $25,000 bond and was released from custody on Wednesday.

Louisiana is home to another teacher-student sex scandal this academic year. In October, two blonde English teachers in the small town of Destrehan were arrested for having an epic threesome with a then-16-year-old male student.
