When Trayvon Martin was killed, all anybody could talk about for months was George Zimmerman.
When Michael Brown was killed, all anybody could talk about for months was Darren Wilson.
When Freddie Gray was killed … nobody wanted to talk about Caesar Goodson.
I’d say he’s fallen off the radar, but I’m not sure he even made a blip on the radar to begin with. It’s been a week since he was charged with second-degree murder, and the intense media frenzy that surrounded Zimmerman and Wilson has passed Goodson by. The national news has lost interest already. When he’s mentioned, if he’s mentioned, it’s in passing. Hell, even Twitter is quiet about him.
Apparently, he’s not a problem. A cop is accused of murdering a young black man, and nobody cares who he is.
Why is that?
Oh wait, now I remember:
