On Monday, the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell levied a rather hefty punishment against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots for the Deflate-Gate scandal.
Brady was handed a four-game suspension, but his greatest punishment has nothing to do with the 2015 season. Throughout the 113 days it took Goodell and the league to decide a proper course of action, the name and reputation of the greatest quarterback of his generation — and arguably all-time — was ruthlessly dragged through the mud.
Brady’s agent has said that the Pats’ signal-caller will appeal his suspension, but Donald Trump wants Brady to take things a step further.
The savy businessman isn’t buying Goodell’s line about protecting the integrity of the game and posted a video to his Facebook page urging Tom to hit ’em where it hurts.
Well said, Mr. Trump. I couldn’t agree more.
