Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer weighed in on the controversy over Bloomberg host Mark Halperin’s ethnically-tinged interrogation of Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, telling the hosts of “Fox and Friends” that his questions were “preposterous” and “condescending.”

“I like Mark, I think he’s a good journalist,” Krauthammer said. “But that was preposterous.” (VIDEO: Krauthammer: ‘Embarrassing’ For White House To Claim Taliban Aren’t Terrorist)

“I can imagine Mark interviewing Chuck Schumer and saying, ‘Do you like kreplach and borscht, and perhaps you could give me an answer in Hebrew?’ You don’t do this, no matter whether you’re Cuban, Jewish, black, or whatever,” he continued.

“I find it appalling, it’s condescending,” he concluded. “And I’m sure he knows he made a mistake. I don’t think we’ll see another Mark Halperin interview like that again.”
