Stephen A. Smith is an irritable guy.

Along with Skip Bayless — Stephen forms one half of ESPN’s popular talk-show “First Take,” and is best known for playing the race card in every argument his impassioned social commentary. (RELATED: Stephen A. Smith Thinks Chip Kelly Is Probably A Racist)

Smith got his start covering the Philadelphia 76ers back in the 90’s, and he often makes appearances on other ESPN programs to discuss the team. On Tuesday, the 76ers debuted two new logos — one, a slight variation of the current logo and a second, depicting a ball-playing Ben Franklin — and Smith was invited onto SportsCenter to give his two-cents. (RELATED: Stephen A. Oh, he’s not a fan of the white guy?

Jokes aside, I pretty much agree with Smith on this one. The 76ers 2014-2015 season was one of the most embarrassing campaigns in all of sports history, and the team has plenty of things it should be worried about before trying to push some new merch.

On the other hand, I kind of like the Ben Franklin logo.

Cat could ball.
