In what may be the oddest publicity move of the year, ABC News has published a report stating that ABC faces a credibility crisis concerning “GMA” and “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos.
That, or some poor intern is being stuffed into a closet as we speak.
Stephanopoulos came under fire this week for donating $75,000 to the Clinton Global Foundation. An inquiry was originally sent to ABC by Andrew Stiles of Washington Free Beacon. But ABC ran to Politico for cover or what they hoped might be a press report that could cushion the blow of Stephanopoulos exposing just how in the tank for the Clintons he is.
A bright side to this mess?
Good for ABC for being so transparent about its credibility crisis.
