Many political observers watching Clinton’s speech immediately picked up on the accent shift.

It’s a rather happy coincidence that Clinton’s accent from the old Arkansas days reasserted itself when it was most politically expedient, rather than at her glitzy upcoming $2,700-a-ticket Manhattan fundraiser.
