If you’ve ever done anything to upset Charles C. Johnson, might want to lawyer up now. Or at the very least, make sure those skeletons you’re hiding won’t see the light of day.
In a late-night chat over text — since Twitter booted him off last week after the company charged that he had threatened to murder a supposed civil rights activist DeRay Mckesson — Johnson, editor of GotNews, told The Mirror that he’s plotting revenge against those who’ve done him wrong. Particularly at risk to receive his wrath are journalists he says have lied about him.
Which may be a sizable crowd, actually.
And by revenge I don’t mean that he intends anyone physical harm.
At 10:50 p.m. Thursday night, with the story of ex-Speaker Dennis Hastert getting indicted in full swing, I wrote to find out what he knew. With his flame of red hair and now infamous #GingerRevolution to get him reinstated to Twitter, I’m calling him “Gingerhead” for the purposes of this conversation.
The Mirror: You working on Hastert stuff? This is when I would’ve looked for you on Twitter!
Gingerhead: I would love to tell the world what I know about Hastert corruption but I am being censored so there’s really no point. And you can feel free to print that. Even Slate says I have been censored.
Gingerhead: People are already calling me and emailing me telling me that Twitter is a newly boring place now that I am gone.
The Mirror: You could still break a big story. Why not move the operation to Facebook?
Gingerhead: Too many old people and baby photos and engagement pictures to break news.
Gingerhead: No, I want my Twitter account back because I did nothing wrong. And even fucking Slate realizes it. They’ll give me back my account or we will go to war. I didn’t pick this fight.
The Mirror: Yeah, I know. It’s ridiculous. The free speech aspect is a big deal.
Gingerhead: I think there are a lot of conservatives who should be speaking up but aren’t. Who should be banned next? Ben Shapiro? Ann Coulter? Dinesh D’Souza? Conservative media should speak up or risk disappearing altogether.
The Mirror: I didn’t like how they were blindly calling DeRay a “civil rights activist.”
Gingerhead: Oh yeah. He’s a degenerate who is instigating riots and they don’t bother to reach out to me for comment. I promise I will “take out” DeRay soon in a journalistic way. I already have a lot of material. I’m coming for every single journalist that lied about me. This summer will go down as the summer of justice. Twitter should not be a forum for instigating riots and terrorists planning attacks but for truth. I intend to expose or “take out” all of the criminals running the riots & invite others to join me.
Gingerhead: And now I have to clean.
