Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley aimed his fire at Hillary Clinton Sunday on “This Week,” calling her out for her silence on trade and her non-stance on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which President Barack Obama continues to push for.

The newest 2016 candidate remarked to George Stephanopoulos that Clinton has been “awfully silent” on the pending trade deal. As the host noted, O’Malley has consistently opposed the deal, siding with Elizabeth Warren on the issue.

“Do you think she’s going to be for it?” Stephanopoulos asked.

“Well, she’s been awfully silent,” O’Malley said. “But I’m sure she’ll come out with a position in her own time. I have not been silent, I’m opposed to it.”

“We shouldn’t be in a race to the bottom for the cheapest labor in the world,” O’Malley added. “That diminishes us as a people and it hurts our economy.”
