The St. Thomas University Bobcats rolled out a one-of-a-kind pitcher during this past weekend’s NAIA baseball national championship game against the Lewis-Clarke State Warriors.

Ben Ancheff started the game for the Bobcats — he fanned five batters across four innings of work — and at 6’2″ and 300 pounds, he seriously challenges the notion that pitchers aren’t athletes.

OK, maybe not, but the big guy still brings some serious cheese.

St. Thomas would eventually fall to Lewis-Clarke, 10-7.
