Hillary Clinton’s “women only” fundraiser shifted its invitation list at the last minute to include anyone who would buy a ticket after sales for the $2,700/person event dwindled, a new report alleges.

The New York fundraiser, hosted by Eliot Spitzer’s ex-wife, was originally designed to be open only to women, who would get a two-hour chat with Clinton herself. (RELATED: Cheatee Party! Spitzer’s Ex Throws Ladies Only Fundraiser For Hillary)

Page Six reports, however, that “during the 11th hour” the event was made open to everyone because “it failed to attract high-powered women.” The goal was 125 tickets sold, but after only 50 people coughed up enough to attend the event, deadlines were pushed back and men were invited.

About 90 ended up attending, and Clinton quoted Eleanor Roosevelt at one point during the event, saying, “Every woman in public life needs to develop skin as tough as rhinoceros hide.” (PHOTO: Is Hillary Clinton Hungover? This Photo Could Be Proof)
