D.C. Metro Transit Police arrested a pantless screaming man on Thursday night at the Metro station in Takoma after he jumped on to the tracks in front of an approaching train.
The man, who was not identified by Metro officials, returned to the platform on his own and was not struck by the train.
Police subdued the man before he exited the train station and transported him to a local hospital where he was involuntarily committed, according to Metro spokeswoman Morgan Dye.
At some point during the altercation the man lost his pants and police placed an anti-spit mask on his face to protect themselves.
The man appeared to be disoriented and was repeatedly yelling “FUCK ME DADDY” as police transported him to a waiting van.

Once inside the van, the man continued screaming, and at one point was visibly rocking the van back and forth.
Trains at the station were stopped and police tape cordoned off the portion of the track where the man jumped down, causing a brief delay as trains single tracked around the station.
Dye said no charges were filed against the man.
