Former Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert is now being publicly accused of sexually abusing a second student, whose family went to the press back in 2006.

Steve Reinboldt was the student equipment manager of the wrestling team for four years back in the 1970’s. Reinboldt’s sister Jolene tells ABC News that Steve told her he had carried on a sexual relationship with then-Coach Hastert for all four years. Hastert’s name came up when Steve came out in the late 70’s. “I asked him, when was your first same sex experience,” Jolene said in an interview with ABC’s Brian Ross. “He looked at me and said, ‘It was with Dennis Hastert.’ I was stunned.”

“He just told me the basics. I believed him 100 percent. But he never went into any details -– where it happened, or what the sexual experiences were like, anything like that.”

Steve Reinboldt died in 1995 of complications due to AIDS. Hastert, now a high profile politician, attended the funeral and denied the allegations when confronted by Jolene. “I want you to know that your secret didn’t die in there with my brother,” she told him. In 2006, Jolene Reinboldt began contacting news sources with her story in the wake of the Mark Foley scandal, during which Hastert was Speaker of the House. But without any evidence, outlets like ABC News declined to publish the allegations.
