The San Francisco Giants’ Chris Heston made history on Tuesday night.
In just his 13th career start, the rookie right-hander threw a no-hitter — the first of the 2015 season — during the Giants’ 5-0 victory over the New York Mets.
Though he hit three batters, Heston allowed no walks, while fanning 11, including the final three batters of the game.

Heston’s effort is the 17th no-hitter in Giants franchise history, including one in each of the past four seasons.
