Following last week’s release of the image that solidified former Olympian Bruce Jenner’s transformation into a woman, Caitlyn Jenner’s picture has been immortalized once again, this time on the arm of a North Carolina man.
Greensboro resident, Jason Hatfield tattooed his arm with a pin-up version of Caitlyn Jenner’s first public photo.
The picture was captured by photographer Annie Leibovitz’ and will appear on the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine’s July issue.
Since its time of release last week, the image coupled with the caption, “Call Me Caitlyn”, has already received much attention from the media.
Now, it will be ingrained, literally, in Jason Hatfield’s arm.
Hatfield who is gay, praised Jenner’s ability to raise awareness.
He called the tattoo, “My tribute to not only the transsexual community and the LGBT community and my personal friends, but to [Caitlin’s] bravery as well,” reports WXII.
