Jeb Bush is expected to receive the endorsements Friday of prominent Florida conservatives ahead of his expected entry into the Republican presidential race, a knowledgable source tells The Daily Caller.
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and Rep. Daniel Webster are among the Republican elected officials in Florida who it will be announced are supporting Bush in the presidential race.
Bondi, a former Fox News analyst, has been attorney general in Flordia since 2011. Earlier this year, Webster ran as the conservative alternative to John Boehner for speaker of the House.
The list of Republicans supporting Bush could be painful to the state’s other Republican presidential candidate, Sen. Marco Rubio. Bush, the former Florida governor, is expected to announce his entry into the contest Monday.
