Rachel Dolezal resigned from her position as a chapter president of the NAACP after her parents outed her as white, and now she’s associating herself with Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner.
In an interview with Savannah Guthrie on Wednesday, Dolezal said Jenner’s story “resonated” with her.
“I cried,” Dolezal said.
“Because I resonated with some of the themes of isolation, of being misunderstood — to not know if you have a conversation with somebody, will that relationship then end because they have seen you as one way.”
