2015 Masters Champion Jordan Spieth kept his bid for the 2015 PGA Tour Grand Slam alive by claiming victory at the U.S. Open on Sunday.
Despite double-bogeying 17, the 21-year-old Dallas native landed his second on 18 within 12 feet of the pin. After Spieth tapped-in for birdie, Dustin Johnson had an opportunity to force an 18-hole playoff on Monday but ended up three-putting, making Spieth only the sixth player in PGA history to win the Masters and U.S. Open in the same year.
