MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell argued Thursday that no matter what comes of the ongoing Iran talks, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will “have to own” whatever “fallout” comes.
The “Mitchell Reports” host made the comments on her Thursday broadcast to The Wall Street Journal’s Jay Solomon.
[John Kerry] has been part of secret negotiations that go back to Hillary Clinton,” Mitchell told Soloman. “She’s going to have to own this politically — the pros and cons of this deal — if it comes together.”
The deadline for talks were extended from June 30 to July 7, with negotiations between the two nations likely to go on until then and (perhaps) longer.
