Whole Foods admitted that the chain has been overcharging its customers, particularly in New York City, CNN Money reports.

In an apologetic YouTube video, CEOs John Mackey and Walter Robb addressed the overcharging complaints and promised that if customers felt overcharged ever again, they would get the food for free. They confess that some of their customers have been accidentally and wrongly overpriced in the fresh fruits and juices section of the store.

“Straight up, we made some mistakes and we want to own that and tell you what we’re doing about it,” Robb told customers.

New York City Department of Consumer Affairs commissioner Julia Menin says that the Whole Foods incident is “the worst case of mislabeling they have ever seen in their careers,” CNN Money reports

There were only a few instances where the Whole Foods customer actually benefited from the mislabeling and overpricing.

Mackey said that in order to fix the problem, Whole Foods will increase training in New York City, in order to “be perfect in this area.”
