ESPN has cut ties with Keith Olbermann… again.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ESPN declined to extend Olbermann’s current contract — which expires at the end of July — after he declined to move his show from its current Times Square locale to the network’s headquarters in Bristol, CT.
Olbermann previously worked for ESPN from 1992-1997 before leaving and spent time working for Fox Sports and NBC before returning to ESPN in 2013. By not renewing Olbermann’s deal, ESPN will reportedly save upwards of $40 million.
