Drunken stupors have left many in the morning floundering around in search of their keys, wallets, dignity, and… daughter?

A Harlem man was so intoxicated he neglected to bring his daughter home from a late night Subway trip Saturday. The adorable little girl, wearing pink leggings and a blue polka dot dress was given a turkey sandwich and subsequently left by her father, Stanley Frederique.

Witnesses claim the little girl cried out, “Daddy! Daddy!” as he came back and opened the door and yelled, “Sit down! I’ll be back!” around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night. Never to return, the girl was left stranded.

It was not until 20 minutes later that a young woman noticed something bizarre about the child in a Subway so late at night. Michaela Warnsley brought the child to the local police station. The authorities brought her to the hospital for treatment.

Frederique did not realize his mistake until 7:30 a.m. the next day. The mother of the child “could barely breathe” upon finding out her child had been left at Subway. To make matters worse, the derelict dad came to the realization his daughter was gone while in a taxi cab. Upon hearing the phone call, the taxi driver drove the errant gentleman to the nearest police station.

The father was charged with child abandonment and reckless endangerment. This was not the first time he abused a minor, as he was recently charged in similar incident of endangering the welfare of a child over custody of another woman’s child.
