A Disneyland employee was charged on Monday for trying to trade theme park tickets for sex with a minor, according to a report by The Huffington Post.

Darreck Michael Enciso, 27, allegedly created a Craigslist ad on July 1 to solicit sex from minors interested in visiting Disneyland. Enciso worked as a dishwasher at a hotel inside the theme park.

An undercover officer with the Huntington Beach Police Department pretended to be a 14-year-old girl and responded to the ad, according to a press release by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. The two arranged a meeting for July 9.

Enciso was arrested after arriving to the agreed-upon location with condoms and Disneyland tickets, according to the press release.

Prosecutors charged Enciso on Monday with one felony count of attempted lewd act upon a child; one felony count of contacting a child with the intent to commit a specified sex crime; and one felony count of meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd conduct.

Enciso worked at his position with the children’s theme park for over a year, according to Huntington Beach Independent.

A representative from the theme park stated that when Disneyland became aware of the arrest, Enciso was placed on administrative leave.

“He was immediately relieved of his duties as a dishwasher,” spokeswoman Suzi Brown said.

If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison and a lifetime registration as a sex offender.

Enciso is being held on a $100,000 bond. He will be arraigned on July 31, according to the LAist.

The district attorney’s office accused Enciso of posting similar ads offering sex for tickets and said the investigation will remain open as they work to identify potential victims.
