Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton immediately tried to dodge questions from reporters following her Tuesday remarks on the Obama administration’s deal with Iran, but one reporter got to the heart of what Congress has been buzzing about the past two days.
“Are you going to Taylor Swift tonight?” yelled a reporter as the press conference ended.
Clinton did not react and immediately left the room.
Taylor Swift fever swept Nationals Park in D.C. in two sold-out concerts on Monday and Tuesday night.
Swift’s D.C. concerts became the social center for numerous political fundraisers this week by Democratic and Republican congressional lawmakers.
26 congressional lawmakers and political action committees hosted fundraisers at her concerts, charging donors $750 to $2,500 per ticket, reports CNN’s Chris Moody.
Here is a list of the political fundraisers at the Swift concert.
Her concert also caused trouble for D.C.’s rush hour commuters trying to get home on Monday afternoon.
