A 21-year-old man was found dead at the bottom of Demi Moore’s pool Sunday morning, and Moore says she is “absolutely shocked” by his death.
Paramedics responded to a 911 call around 5:15 a.m. Sunday after Moore’s assistant had hosted a party while the actress was out of town. Edenilson Steven Valle, who didn’t know how to swim, had slipped and fallen in the pool.
His friends found him 15 minutes later.
“I am in absolute shock,” the 52-year-old actress said in a statement. “I was out of the country traveling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news.”
