Full disclosure: I’m not a huge fan of the kickball obsession that’s taken hold of metro-rec leagues across the country.
It’s a made-up sport that doesn’t deserve its current position in the hallowed pantheon of beer-league athletics, but if folks in D.C. started playing “Kiddie Pool Kickball,” I think I’d be willing to give it second chance.
If anything, it would be a great way to beat the heat.
