Brandon Phillips has been a defensive stalwart for the Cincinnati Reds for a decade, but the 34-year-old second baseman might have made the play of his career on Monday night against Chicago.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Phillips snared a ground ball off the bat of Cubs right fielder Jorge Soler on the shortstop side of the bag and made an impressive behind the back flip to preserve a one-run lead and end the inning.

Cincinnati would go on to win, 5-4.
