After Ashton Kutcher wrote a scathing Facebook post criticizing Bill de Blasio for trying to cap the growth of companies like Uber, now Kate Upton is getting involved.
The 23-year-old confronted the New York City mayor on Twitter Wednesday over his proposal to freeze growth of for-hire driver vehicle companies like Uber and Lyft.

Uber responded and thanked Upton for her support.

The criticism comes in the wake of de Blasio and the city council proposing a bill that would cap the growth of companies like Uber by limiting how many cars they can put on the road each year. The bill would allow the companies to increase the amount of vehicles by just one percent each year, which is only about 201 new drivers for Uber.
