… but I do know what happens when the Daily Ballers face-off against the International Republican Institute‘s “Right-Center Fielders.”
Absolute beatdown, every time.
Just like the 2016 Republican field, our game on Wednesday featured an early barrage of — let’s just call it — shit talk from both teams, but an offensive explosion from the Ballers quickly put an end to that.
To be honest, the 18 runs we scored — coupled with the fact that an intern left the scorebook at the field — makes it difficult to remember exactly who crossed home plate and when they did so. Still, I know Captain Jake, who missed last week’s game on the DL/vacation, hit a towering home run in either the second or third inning.
Unfortunately for the ‘Ceps, one was not enough to keep pace with the team’s current home run leader — me — as your boy launched three — countem’… THREE — dingers into the stratosphere.
That’s nine on the year, ladies.
