Anti-Gun Activists Waste No Time In Calling For Gun Control, Smear Jindal After Shooting
Within moments of the awful news of a shooting at a theater in Louisiana breaking, anti-Second Amendment activists began calling for more gun control.
The shooting, which left two people and the shooter dead and several wounded, had barely broken when a chorus of voiced declared the gun, not the shooter, was responsible for the attack.
Many of the same people who insisted the murder of Kate Steinle in San Francisco was the act of a single individual, not indicative of illegal aliens and should not be used to “punish” sanctuary cities, are calling for the rights of all Americans to be curtailed because of the act of one evil person.
Here is a sampling of tweets calling for gun control in the immediate aftermath of tragic shooting.
Another movie theater shooting. What is the appropriate amount of time to wait before we start discussing gun control again. Oh, never?

@BobbyJindal stick your prayers up your ass Jindal. You are the party of the NRA and refuse to vote for assault weapons ban!

If you don't like gun control, spare us your outrage when shootings occur. You decided what's important to you, & it's not people's lives.

I sincerely believe this: the NRA is a terrorist organization. It should be outlawed by the government, its assets frozen and leaders jailed

We don't need prayers, you jackass! We need stricter laws. Idiot. https://t.co/jCjCdoGzZe

We defeated the Nazis, and took all their guns away. We defeated the USSR,had treaties to disarm them, but 'oh no, gun control is too hard'

Thinking about home tonight as another gunman gets to take more lives and nothing changes about gun control. This has to end. Guns = Evil

So tired of Americans wanting to pray after a mass shooting. How about doing something that matters: passing gun control #Lafayette

Gov. Jindal when asked about gun control issue after shooting: This isn't the time.

Go to hell, Bobby Jindal. This blood is on your hands, as well as that of every other pro-gun politician. Your "prayers" mean nothing.
