Agnes Fenton turned 110 years old this past Saturday, and the Englewood, N.J. woman attributes her long-life to a rather unexpected source.

In an interview she gave back in 2005, Fenton claimed she drank three Miller High Lifes and a shot of Johnny Walker Blue every day. Fenton claims she was actually prescribed this unique elixir-of-youth by a doctor many years ago in order to cure a benign tumor.

“Agnes, you must drink three Miller High Lifes a day,” the doctor said, and she stuck with it for 70 years. Still, Dr. Kenneth Wasserman, Fenton’s personal physician for the past 20 years, is baffled by just how effective this home remedy proved to be. “The few things she’s had wrong with her have disappeared in ways they should not have. Her health has been phenomenal… She’s completely, thoroughly amazing,” he told NewJersey.com.
