Former Cleveland Browns and Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn formally endorsed Jeb Bush for president prior to Thursday’s televised debate

“I want a President who focuses on fixing the problems not creating them,” Quinn said. “I had the pleasure of living in Florida and experiencing first hand the successful work of Governor Jeb Bush. I believe Gov Bush is the leader who can provide the next generation with the best chance to succeed.”

Quinn’s endorsement will factor into the Bush campaign’s active strategy of targeting younger voters, reports ABC. Quinn will travel to Chicago Friday with Jeb Bush Jr. to speak at a campaign fundraising event.
